NEW! Added 10/07/09: On behalf of myself and Scout's Honor Rescue, I wanted to thank FAAS and its amazing volunteers for helping literally save the life of one of our rescue dogs: Crystal.
I received a call from a vet's office in Arlington, TX letting me know that one of our rescue dogs had been picked up running loose and was turned into them as a stray. Labor Day weekend was just a few days away and they had no space to keep her. They said I had a day or two to figure something out before they had to send her to animal control…a horrible fate for any dog. Fear and panic was all I felt as I sat in New Mexico with our rescue in Houston and my heart just broke for Crystal. She had a very rough start to life..she and her babies ended up at "BARC", the City of Houston pound. Her puppies quickly picked up something and did not make it. Crystal was so sad and would escape out of the top of her pen at BARC trying to find them. Amazingly, a kind woman rescued her and put her in the Scout's Honor's adoption program. Then, finally one day, a very nice, young family came along and fell in love with her and she was off to her happy ending..until we got the call that she had been picked up and taken to the vet's office in Arlington.
Unfortunately, two long years had passed since Crystal was adopted and her adopter had moved so we had no new contact information and we knew we needed time to try to find them..something neither we nor Crystal had. We prayed for a miracle and sent an email asking if anyone could help us by temporarily kenneling Crystal and transporting her to safety while we tried to find her owners….our prayers were answered when the kind volunteers at FAAS immediately came to our rescue! Before I knew it, a volunteer was on her way to get Crystal out of the clinic and off to safety so we wouldn't have to worry about her ending up at animal control, a certain death sentence. Another volunteer (Christine from Wag Time) kindly and generously offered to board her for us at her doggie daycare, who in spite of the approaching holiday weekend had graciously made room for Crystal when everyone else was saying there was no room! Within a couple of days, we had tracked down Crystal's family and they were reunited with her…something that would not have happened without FAAS coming to our rescue and their immediate response to our plea for help! I shudder to think of what would have happened without them and am forever grateful to them for their quick actions and kindness! Please join me in supporting this wonderful group that is a necessary and much-needed resource to the Arlington area.
Again, on behalf of Crystal, myself and Scout’s Honor Rescue, thank you so very much for your help with saving Crystal and helping us out of a very difficult situation! I cannot express how impressed I am by FAAS and its volunteers – its so rare to find those willing to help others, especially on moment’s notice on a holiday weekend.
Best Wishes!

Christine and her staff at Wag Time exceeded our expectations of doggie daycares. Everyone was nice and friendly since the first time we called to inquire about their services. They all share our enthusiasm and understand why we spoil our dog. Our Jet is well taken care of and always has a wonderful time whenever he’s there. It's always dog party time at WagTime. He is the least of our worries whenever we’re out of town because we know that he’s having more fun at the daycare than we are on our trip. Our not-so-little four legged baby is given the love and attention that he deserves. At pick-up time, it’s always hard to get Jet in the car – he never wants to leave. We LOVE Wag Time, and most especially Jet does too!

We are using Wag Time's grooming services with our cocker spaniels and they are awesome! Jamie does such a beautiful cut on our three girls and they love giving kisses to Jamie, Jacob, and Christine!

There's a reason I drove several miles yet again to WagTime: I know my “sons” (CiCi and Victor) are going to be loved and cared for while I’m gone. There is a difference between just boarding my pets, and leaving them in the loving hands of the WagTime staff! I provide the best possible care to my “sons” while I’m with them (i.e. probably spoil them rotten!!!), so I want only the best for them while I’m gone. I know they’re getting the best possible care while they’re at WagTime, and that helps me relax while I’m away.

I wouldn't take my boys anywhere else! The first time we visited WagTime, I was nervous, but when I called to check on my Husker, I always got a friendly voice. There is always someone available and even accomodated my tight schedule on drop off and pick up. Each of the staff has a genuine love for dogs and are adding great services daily. I've never before seen my boys excited to go somewhere! Thank you, WagTime!

My dog Maverick has been going there since he was little. He loves it and they all take such great care of him. I have tried a few daycares but this one is by far my favorite and Maverick's as well. Boarding is great there! There is always someone to check on them when they are being boarded and I love that. I can call all the time to check on him and they don't mind. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for great care for their dog.

I've been taking my newly adopted beagle to wagtime for a couple of months now. She loves Wagtime and runs with excitement to the front door. By the time I pick her up in the afternoon all she does is sleep b/c she's so exhausted from playing.
