We do not charge according to your pet's weight or size, or by the kennel option you choose. There are no additional fees for boarding pets together, feeding a special diet, giving medications, keeping up with personal items, or for special attention such as walks, ball-time and hugs.

Boarding Options
Because each pet and boarding situation is unique, we have several options available for boarding, including:

Please be assured that while we will make every effort to accommodate your boarding preference, your pet's safety is our top priority. If, after getting to know your pet, we determine that a different type of boarding enclosure would work better, he/she may be moved. Each boarding space is furnished with a comfy bed, warm blankets, fan, food/water and bedtime treats. Soft music plays throughout the boarding room for a good nights sleep.

Holiday Reservation Requirements
We are a small facility and we limit our boarding capacity, which allows us to give each pet generous attention and individualized care. Because of that, our boarding space tends to fill up quickly - especially over holidays - so reservations are required. Reservations are guaranteed and must be secured by a credit card number as a deposit. Reservations will be cancelled if the deposit is not received at least 7 days prior to the first day of stay - however, if you need last minute boarding, please call and we will accommodate your situation if possible.

Holiday Deposit Policy
A deposit of $50 is required to reserve a space for boarding. The deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made within 3 days of the first boarding day (7 days prior to a major holiday) or if customer is a no show. If the reserved stay costs less than $50, advance payment in full is required in lieu of a deposit.

Reservations will be cancelled if the deposit is not received at least 7 days prior to the first day of stay. If you are booking a reservation but are not certain of your plans, you may want to consider calling us when your plans are firm. We do not want to turn away customers who are certain they want to book with us, nor do we want to charge you for boarding you do not use.

Payment Arrangements
Payment for the estimated total per stay (minus deposit fee) is required when your pet is dropped off and any other totals are due when you pick up your pet. These 'other totals' include things like additional days added onto the stay, purchase of food if pet runs out, grooming, etc.

Cancellation/Refund Policy
Please remember that we are a small facility and we are holding your reservation request pending your pet's arrival. When we reach our total occupancy capacity, we have to refuse reservation requests and turn business away. If you do not cancel your reservations in a timely manner, we may be unable to re-book the space we have held for you. Because of that, the $50 deposit is non-refundable if cancellation is made within 3 days of the first boarding day (7 days prior to a major holiday) or if customer is a no show. If customer cancels more further in advance, we will refund the deposit, minus a $3.00 service charge.

Required Forms
Forms may be picked up at our facility or printed from the web for your convenience. All enrollment forms and shot records must be presented prior to your pet staying with us. If we need to call you vet to verify shots, etc., please bring the forms to us prior to dropping your pet off for boarding. It would also be a good idea to visit our facility prior to boarding your pet with us, as this will give us a chance to meet each other and give us time to assess your pet's personality. We want to make sure you are comfortable leaving your pet(s) with us and that our facility is a good fit for your pet's needs.

Vaccination/Health Requirements
A copy of current vaccination records must be provided for each pet prior to admission to our facility. We require DHLP-CPV and Rabies annually (or 3 yr) and Bordetella annually, though we strongly recommend Bordetella be administered every 6 months (click here for more information on this very important topic). Dog must be in good health; free from fleas, ticks and matts; and should be given a routine heartworm preventative.

Spay/Neuter Policy
All dogs over 6 months old must be spayed or neutered in order to participate in day care. We will board un-spayed/un-neutered pets, but they will not be allowed to play freely with other dogs. They will be walked and/or allowed to play in an area alone when not kenneled.

Temperament
Most boarded dogs will be able to play with others in the day care when not kenneled. Because dog day care requires a friendly, happy atmosphere in order to be successful, it is important that your dog be comfortable playing and socializing with other dogs. For the safety of all pets and staff, we require day care dogs to be:

Boarded dogs are expected to participate in doggie day care but if your pet does not play well with others, needs more rest or you choose to not have your dog participate, he/she will be walked and/or allowed to play in an area alone during the daytime.

Breed Restrictions
Though we agree that Pit Bulls can be great "people" dogs, they are not always great "dog" dogs. Also, we know that all dogs - small and large - can be dangerous if not properly trained and controlled, but research and experience show that Pit Bulls can have a difficult time in the stimulating environment of day care. For this reason, we do not allow purebred Pit Bull breeds into our facility and must temperament-test mixed breeds prior to stay.

Food/Treats
Because many dogs are sensitive to sudden diet changes, we request you bring your pet's food so that we can avoid unnecessary stress during his/her stay. In the event you do not provide food for your pet, a name brand dry food will be fed to your pet. Provided food should be clearly labeled with your pet's name but does not have to be packaged in any specific way - just please be sure we have clear feeding/mixing instructions. You are welcome to bring treats and chews you feel comfortable leaving your pet alone with. If you do not bring food for your pet, we will charge $1 per feeding and provide a name brand, dry or canned food.

Medications and Supplements
Please be sure to bring enough of your pet's medications for their stay. Provided medications food should be clearly labeled with your pet's name but do not have to be packaged in any specific way - just please be sure we have clear and concise medication instructions.

Bedding
Each boarding space is furnished with a comfy bed and warm blankets but you are welcome to bring bedding, blankets and other items with your scent or that your pet uses regularly if you wish.

Toys/Personal items
You are welcome to bring blankets, chews, toys and other items you feel comfortable leaving your pet alone with.

Drop Off/Pick Up Hours
Kennels and boarding space are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please do not plan to drop off a pet for boarding without making a reservation, though we will accommodate last minute boarding when able. Boarding hours are 8:00am-8:00pm seven days a week unless otherwise specified for Holidays. A late pickup fee of $8/each is assessed for picking your pet(s) up after 1:00pm.

In order to ensure the safety of staff and all dogs left in our care, we reserve the right to turn away any animal unsuitable for our environment.
